Alek Skarlatos is the GOP nominee in southwestern Oregon District 4. Skarlatos is most well-known for helping stop a gunman on a train heading to Paris in 2015. It will be difficult to unseat 17-term incumbent Peter DeFazio (D). However, some forecasters think he has a chance. David Wasserman of Cook Political says "Trump came within 500 votes of carrying this blue-collar seat in 2016, and some Democrats are concerned that turnout won't be at typical levels in the university hubs of Eugene and Corvallis."
The state's other four incumbents are expected to be reelected.
