Governor
Incumbent Republican Mark Gordon is seeking a second term. He has drawn three primary challengers but is expected to be renominated. Two are competing for the Democratic nomination and almost certain defeat in November.
U.S. House
Rep. Liz Cheney faces a challenge from a Trump-endorsed attorney, Harriet Hageman. Ousting Cheney, who has played a very visible role as vice chair of the January 6 committee, has been a top priority for the former president.
The RealClearPolitics average of two recent polls shows Hageman at 55%, nearly double the 29% support of the incumbent.
Cheney is the last of ten House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump to face primary voters. If she loses, only two of those will be on the ballot in November.
State Senate
Republicans hold all but two seats in the 30-member Wyoming State Senate. Members serve four-year, staggered terms; the odd-numbered districts are up for election in 2022.
State House
Republicans dominate the Wyoming House of Representatives, holding 51 of 60 seats. There are seven Democrats along with a Libertarian and an independent. Members serve two-year terms.
