Super Tuesday: Republican Presidential Primaries
This page will provide live results and delegate allocations for the 15 states holding Republican presidential primaries or caucuses on Super Tuesday, March 5.
Delegate Summary Results
865 delegates are at stake Tuesday. That's over 35% of the total of 2,429 available across all GOP nominating contests.
Unfortunately for the Haley campaign, most Super Tuesday states have a winner take all provision if one candidate gets a majority of the vote. With only two major candidates remaining, a majority winner is the most likely outcome in all these states.
Five states, with 286 total delegates, (California, Maine, Massachusetts, Utah, Vermont), have winner take all for a majority of the statewide vote. Haley's best chance to win any delegates here is probably Vermont.
Another four states, with 302 total delegates, (Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia), have winner take all for a majority, but with a portion of delegates based on the statewide vote, and a portion on the vote in each congressional district. Haley should do best in a few of the more urban or suburban districts in Texas and Virginia.
The remaining six states could end up winner take all, but the thresholds are higher.
