U.S. Senate
Neither seat is up for election this year.
2020: Sen. Jim Inhofe (R, 5th term) | 2022: Sen. James Lankford (R, 2nd term).
Governor
Incumbent Gov. Mary Fallin (R) cannot run due to term limits. While this is a deep red state, Fallin's unpopularity has left the door slightly open for a Democratic pick-up. However, it is a long shot.
U.S. House
5 Congressional Districts: 5* Republicans | 0 Democrats
Race to Watch: 5th
This district includes Oklahoma City. It's easily the most competitive one in this deep red state; however a Democratic gain here is unlikely.
Others to Watch: None
None of these districts were decided by less than a 40% margin in 2016. *The 1st district has been vacant since former Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R) was confirmed to head NASA. There is no special election; it is our understanding that the winner of the midterm election will be appointed by the governor to serve in the lame-duck session.
