Republican Marco Rubio is seeking a third term. He is being challenged by Democratic Rep. Val Demings (FL-10). Polling has been quite consistent showing Rubio with a lead of about 6-8%.

Despite - or perhaps because of - making few friends in the press, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis is well-positioned to win a second term over Democratic former governor Charlie Crist.  After the election, attention will quickly shift to whether DeSantis will run for president in 2024.

These elections will be conducted using redistricted boundaries that are favorable for Republicans to gain multiple seats.  The state is gaining a congressional district.
