Republican Gov. Brad Little turned back a far right primary challenge from lieutenant governor Janice McGeachin. He's expected to win a second term, and should enjoy a better relationship with his lieutenant, most likely GOP House Speaker Scott Bedke.

These elections will be conducted using redistricted boundaries, although there was almost no change from the map in place over the past decade. Both Republican incumbents are heavily favored to win.
