GOP Sen. Rand Paul is seeking a third term. He is expected to be renominated. Former State Rep. Charles Booker is the likely Democratic nominee. Booker was a candidate for the party nomination in the state's 2020 U.S. Senate race, narrowly losing to Amy McGrath. The general election is currently seen as 'Safe Republican'.
