President (8 Electoral Votes)
Safe Republican
Aside from being partial to Democratic nominees from the South (Johnson 1964, Carter 1976, Clinton 1992 and 1996), Kentucky has voted Republican in every presidential election since 1956. That is unlikely to change in 2024. Donald Trump won by about 26% in 2020.
U.S. House
Safe R
Safe D
All six incumbents - five Republicans and one Democrat - are expected to be reelected. This includes Hal Rogers (KY-05), the longest current serving member. Rogers is unopposed for what will be his 23rd term. Also unopposed is Thomas Massie (R, KY-04).
