President (6 Electoral Votes)

Consensus Forecast
Toss-up

Nevada has voted with the presidential winner in all but two elections (1976, 2016) since 1912.

The state is widely seen as one of seven battlegrounds that will decide a closely-contested 2024 presidential election.

U.S. Senate

Leans Democratic

Democratic Sen. Jacky Rosen is seeking a second term. The GOP nominee is Sam Brown, who previously ran for the state's other U.S. Senate seat in 2022. He lost in the primary to Adam Laxalt.

At the time, Democratic Rep. Dina Titus (NV-01) didn't care for the new map drawn by the Legislature after the 2020 Census. It turned her Las Vegas-based District from a district Biden won by 25% in 2020 to one Biden would have won by about 9%. The goal was to reallocate some of those voters to battleground Districts 3 and 4, making them stronger for Democrats.

The plan seems to have worked - all three Democrats won by about 5% in 2022, and all three are now solidly favored to win another term.

Republican Mark Amodei is a safe bet for reelection in District 2- he only faces minor party and independent opposition.
