President (11 Electoral Votes)

Consensus Forecast
Safe Republican

Aside from voting for Democratic nominees from the south (Johnson 1964, Carter 1976, Clinton 1992 and 1996), Tennessee has voted Republican in every presidential election since 1952. That is unlikely to change in 2024. Donald Trump won by about 23% in 2020.

Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn is expected to win a second term.

Republicans 'cracked' Nashville into three districts during redistricting which followed the 2020 Census. The revamped District 5 was flipped by Republican Andy Ogles, leaving only one Democrat-held seat. Ogles is favored for reelection, despite some campaign finance issues. The eight other incumbents are expected to be reelected.
