2024 Georgia House Election Interactive Map
All US House seats to be contested in 2024
Suburban districts 6 and 7 - just to the north of Atlanta - were made much less competitive during redistricting that followed the 2020 Census. District 6 became more Republican; District 7 more Democratic. Both were decided by margins over 20% in 2022.
Court-ordered redistricting in late 2023 effectively reversed that, and the incumbents in those districts are both switching to run in the more favorable district in 2024. Toggle between 'Consensus' and 'Current' views in the map below to see how the new redistricting changed the boundaries of each district.
Lack of competitiveness pretty much defines all the state's 14 districts, split 9-5 in favor of the GOP. District 2 - in the southwestern part of the state - was decided by 9.9% margin, while the next closest, District 1, was nearly double that at 18.3%.
