Reddit AMA Electoral Map
This isn’t a popularity contest™
One year out, the electoral map for 2016 is looking pretty similar to other recent presidential elections, with only about 10-15 states expected to be competitive. The Democratic states on this map, except for New Mexico, have voted as a bloc since 1992 - six consecutive elections. If Republicans are to win they will likely have to break down some of this 'blue wall'. Absent that, Florida literally becomes a must-win state. The best chance for that is in the lighter-shaded leaning Democratic blue states.
