As with every incumbent winning a 2nd term, except Wilson in 1916 and Obama in 2012, Bill Clinton was re-elected with more electoral votes in the 1996 presidential election than in his first term. However, Georgia and Montana flipped Republican that year. Montana's streak is still alive, while Georgia fell off this map when it voted for Joe Biden in 2020.
